Rock Path Fires Update 7/1/2020
The Color Country Type 3 Incident Management Team will transition to a local Type 4 Incident Command (IC) effective July 1, 2020 at 8:30 p.m.
The Color Country Type 3 Incident Management Team will transition to a local Type 4 Incident Command (IC) effective July 1, 2020 at 8:30 p.m.
Remaining crews will continue to strengthen control lines using hand-crews around the perimeter of the fire during June 30, 2020 operational period. Crews will continue to conduct mop-up operations, which includes extinguishing or removing burning material near control lines, felling snags, and trenching logs to prevent rolling after an area has burned in order to make a recent fire zone safe or to reduce residual smoke.
Crews will continue to construct and strengthen control lines using hand-crews and a bulldozer around the perimeter of the fire during June 29, 2020 operational period.
