IT IS UNLAWFUL TO DISCHARGE ANY FIREWORKS IN UTAH UNTIL JULY 2.
FIREWORKS ARE NEVER ALLOWED ON US FOREST SERVICE, BLM OR NATIONAL PARKS.
Stage 1 Restrictions | Stage 2 Restrictions | Special Restrictions |
1. No open fires of any kind except within established
public facilities in improved campgrounds, picnic areas. -OR- In permanently constructed fire pits at private homes where running water is present. 2. No smoking, except within an enclosed vehicle, trailer or building, a developed recreation site or while stopped in an area that is paved or free from dry vegetation. 3. No fireworks, tracer ammunition or other pyrotechnic devices including exploding targets. 4. No cutting, welding or grinding metal in areas of dry vegetation. 5. No operating a motorcycle, chainsaw, ATV, or other small internal combustion engine without an approved and working spark arrestor. |
NO OPEN FIRES OF ANY KIND (compressed or liquid gas grills, stoves, firepits with a shutoff valve ARE ALLOWED with proper clearance of flammable materials.) -PLUS- All of the restricted activities listed under “Stage 1” |
