COOPERATING AGENCIES: State of Utah Department of Natural Resources – Division of Forestry,
Fire and State Lands, USDA Forest Service- Fishlake National Forest, Millard County Sheriff’s
Office and local fire departments from Kanosh, Meadow, Fillmore, Holden, and Scipio.
CURRENT SITUATION:
Moderate fire growth was observed on the fire last night. Additional fire crews and
personnel are arriving today and will be working on constructing a fireline. Air
resources will be assisting with today’s operations.
EVACUATIONS: Virginia Hills Subdivision
ROAD CLOSURES:
The closure order is from Chalk Creek FR100 south to Meadow Creek FR501 and
all interior trails. This closure order will remain in place for firefighter and public
