Art Nord Fire – Last Update Tuesday, July 27, 2021

Start: July 24, 2021

Location: Old Snowbasin Road in Weber County, UT

Cause: Human Caused – Target Shooting

Size: 46.3 acres

Containment: 85%

Fuels: Oak brush and tall grass

Assigned Resources:

1 – Handcrews                 2 – Overhead                    22 – Total Personnel

Fire incident management has determined that the potential for the fire to cross the containment line is low, therefore firefighting resources have been reduced today. The U.S. Forest Service will have local firefighters on scene and patrolling the fire perimeter until the fire is 100% contained.

The Old Snowbasin Road temporary closure has been lifted.
