Location: Millard County, 6 miles southeast of Kanosh
Lat x Long Coordinates: 38 45.28 x 112 20.92
Jurisdiction: Fishlake National Forest, Fillmore Ranger District
Fire Size: 170 acres
Cause: Lightning
Fire Behavior: Smoldering.
Closures: Upper Corn Creek Road (Forest Road 505).
Percent Contained: 70%
Fuels: Timber with grass understory.
Fire Crews/Resources: Air support, engines, smokejumpers, crews, and miscellaneous support resources.
Evacuations: None.
Summary: Crews completed handline around the fire perimeter today, increasing containment to 70%. Crews will continue to strengthen the fire line and mop-up hot spots tomorrow. Fire managers will lift the closure of Adelaide Campground at 9:00 a.m. on 7/5/2021. Forest Road #106 from Kanosh to Clear Creek is now open. Upper Corn Creek Road (FR505) remains closed.
