October 21, 2020
Summary: There was minimal growth on the Range Fire yesterday and containment increased to 33 percent. Firefighters will be challenged by Red Flag weather conditions today. Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) may implement a Public Safety Power Shutoff due to the expected critical fire weather conditions which would impact the fire area. Fire managers have coordinated closely with RMP to ensure that suppression and community protection capabilities will not be impacted. Additional firefighters will be flown into the western flank today to join crews that have been spiked out in that area to help complete fireline construction along that perimeter. Mop up will continue along containment lines.
