Summary: Containment remains at 80 percent. Due to more accurate mapping, the number of acres has increased to 570. Most of the closure area will be lifted at 11:59 today. The new closure area will be limited to only the fire area itself. This is due to hazard trees and continued smoldering in the area. Management of the fire will transition to a Type 4 organization at 6 a.m. tomorrow. The remaining resources will be patrolling, continuing mop-up operations, and monitoring containment lines. Firefighters will also continue repairing damage from suppression efforts in areas where the fire perimeter is secure. No additional fire growth is anticipated.
