Summary: Yesterday, containment of the fire area doubled and is now at 50 percent, and crews continued to make progress suppressing heat sources within the fire perimeter. Today, minimal spread is expected as crews continue to construct containment line, but there is a possibility for gusty and erratic winds that bring the possibility of increased fire activity. Please continue to avoid the closure area. Public and firefighter safety is always our top priority. Smoke may be visible from Interstate 70, State Route 10 & surrounding areas.
Location: 15 miles East of Salina, Sevier County, Utah

Fire Behavior: Minimal, smoldering, creeping, isolated torching
