Summary: The fire experienced no perimeter growth today, and fire behavior was minimal. The fire remains at 90% containment. The Type 3 team will transition the fire to a Type 4 team tomorrow.

Start Date: August 3, 2020
Location and Jurisdiction: 50 miles south of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Bureau of Land Management Wyoming and Utah
Cause: Under investigation
Fire Size: 7,632 acres
Complexity: Type 3 Incident Command
Percent Contained: 90%
Fire Behavior: Minimal; creeping, backing
Structures Threatened: Oil and gas resources in Utah
Fuels and Terrain: The fire is burning through pinyon pine, juniper, grass and brush in steep terrain.
Fire Crews/Resources: 2 engines, 1 watertender, 1 (20 person) crew. 77 personnel total.
Evacuations and Closures: Clay Basin Road is now open. Closures for Section B of the Green River in Utah have been lifted. Browns Park Road closure has been lifted. There are currently no evacuations or closures in place.
