Location and Jurisdiction: 50 miles south of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Bureau of Land Management Wyoming and Utah
Cause: Under investigation
Fire Size: 6,564
Complexity: Type 3 Incident Command

Fire Behavior: Isolated torching, running in sagebrush
Structures Threatened: Oil and gas resources in Utah
Fuels and Terrain: The fire is burning through pinyon pine, juniper, grass and brush on steep terrain.
Fire Crews/Resources: 12 engines, 1 watertender, 9 (20 person) crews, 1 dozer and 3 helicopter. 217 personnel total.
Evacuations and Closures: Section B of the Green River in Utah is closed for recreational use from the Little Hole boat ramp to the Indian Crossing boat ramp.
