Yesterday, the fire became very active again around 3:00 p.m. due to dry windy hot conditions. Aviation resources supported firefighters with water bucket drops and retardant drops as the fire moved through dense pockets of trees. The fire is currently moving in a northeast direction. Crews will continue with line construction around the edges of the fire and mopping up hot spots. The weather is expected to continue with hot dry conditions.
