Summary: Yesterday, firefighters continued to extinguish heat sources within the fire, and increased containment to 60 percent. Evacuation orders and closures have been lifted. Today, firefighters will continue working to further secure containment lines.

Fire Size: Estimated 1416 acres

Complexity: Type 3 Incident Command

Fire Behavior: Smoldering

Structures Threatened: None

Evacuations: Thepre-evacuation notices that were in place for the Big Horn Ranch area, and the evacuation order for homes between Big Horn Ranch Rd. and Becks Rd. have been lifted. 

Closures: None

Fuels and Terrain: Grass, sagebrush, oak, and maple in steep terrain

Resources: 14 engines, one Hotshot crew, two dozers, one grader, three water-tenders and one initial attack squad
