Summary: The Sandy fire was reported at 3:34 p.m. July 24, 2020 approximately 3 miles west of exit 30 off Interstate 15. It is burning near the Dry Sandy Wash in brush and pinion juniper.

Fire Size/Containment: estimated 15 acres/0% contained

Location: Near Toquerville, Utah

Fire Behavior: Fire is actively burning in brush and timber

Cause: Lightning

Structures Threatened: no

Structures Destroyed: no
