Summary: Due to the progress firefighters have made, we will be reducing staff and resources significantly to make them available to assist on other fires. The fire will transition to a local Type IV Incident Commander as the Color Country Type III team is returning the fire to the local agency tomorrow morning July 22.

Some minor interior smoke, as well as dust devils will be visible intermittently.

Cause: Human (Blown Tire)

Fire Behavior: minimal, smoldering

Closures:  none

Structures: none

Percent Contained: 90%

Fuels: dry grass and brush

Fire Crews/Resources: 1 hand crew and 7 wildland fire engines

Evacuations: none

Injuries: none
