Summary: Today crews will be monitoring the secured fire lines for any area that may contain hot spots and working on those areas if needed. An increase of interior growth is possible in the Cove Creek drainage, but will also be monitored and addressed if it is affecting the secure fire line perimeter. Smoke from the interior growth may be visible today. This is a full suppression fire that utilizes indirect fire line tactics.
The current closure order will be rescinded when there is no longer a threat to public safety.
