Summary: The Cove Creek Fire is being managed under a full suppression strategy utilizing a series of tactics including indirect fire line with firing operations to secure that line. This strategy allows for fire managers to address issues such as limited access for firefighting resources, varying terrain and fuel types. Firing operations will continue the next few days securing those lines contingent upon weather. Smoke will be visible from the surrounding areas.
