Start Date: July 30, 2008
Location: Approximately 10.5 miles northwest of Scofield.
Jurisdiction: Manti-LaSal National Forest, Price District
Cause: Lightning Caused
Fire Size: 210 Acres
Fuels: sub-alpine fir, spruce and aspen
Resources: Fire managers review the progress of the fire and weather forecasts regularly to determine if suppression action is necessary to protect life and property.
Other: Closures are not expected in the Fish WFU fire area, but firefighters and equipment are still working in the area. For the safety of the public and the firefighters, please follow all directions given by fire personnel. If you encounter fire traffic or fire personnel on or off the road, please give them space necessary to continue their task.
